2015 Transition Amnesty

Those defendants who have a case or cases in warrant status in the St. Louis City Municipal Court due to the fines and court costs not being paid may take advantage of an opportunity to have those warrants set aside.  This applies to those who are in warrant status only because of the non-payment of those cases, not those who have open, or non-assessed, cases.

A defendant who has a warrant/warrants only because of fines and court costs being due may come to the Customer Service Counter at St. Louis Municipal Court at 1520 Market, [using the 16th Street entrance].  This  program begins on July 1 and ends on July 31st, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.   The warrant/warrants will be cancelled with the Defendant getting a new Court date at no cost and without having to post a bond.

This program particularly applies to those who have had a fine and/ or Court costs assessed on their cases and received a payment date which was missed.

If you are not sure whether you qualify to take advantage of this program look here to see if you are eligible.
